The careful part
The back tells the story of the finish.
Binding is the final line around a quilt, and the back shows where every turn deserves attention.
Rows of hand stitching are visible across the pink backing.
A dark green binding traces the quilt edge.
Clean turns keep the finished line continuous around the quilt.

Questions before you bring your quilt?
If you're looking for quilt binding in Syracuse, Utah, these answers cover the details that shape an estimate before local drop-off is arranged.
How does straight binding pricing work?
The finished perimeter sets the straight binding price: under 120 inches is $25; 120–180 is $30; 181–285 is $35; 286–318 is $45; 319–371 is $55; and over 371 is $70. These are the live rates for every customer.
What does your straight binding service include?
Rebekah machine stitches the binding to the front, flips it, and hand ladder-stitches it to the back. She miter-stitches the corners, and when she prepares the binding, she joins the pieces on the miter to minimize bulk.
Can you prepare binding for me?
Binding prepared from yardage is a $10 flat fee. Binding made from scraps is open-ended at $12.50/hour. If customer-provided binding is too short or needs fixing, Rebekah may add the $10 preparation fee only after discussing and receiving approval. Sheets and other nonstandard sources remain review-only.
Do I need to trim the quilt first?
If the quilt edges are not even enough, Rebekah will contact you before proceeding. You can pick it up and trim it yourself, or approve her $10 trimming fee.
How do minky and other difficult fabrics affect pricing?
A full minky backing adds 10% to the known estimate. Minky in the quilt top usually does not add a surcharge; other difficult-fabric uses are reviewed based on where they occur.
Can you do scalloped quilt binding?
Yes. Scalloped-edge preparation is open-ended at $13/hour, plus the applicable perimeter tier. Rebekah reviews the preparation details and does not invent the number of hours in advance.
How does eyelet lace quilt edging work?
Eyelet-lace preparation can include making the binding, rounding the corners, attaching the trim and binding, and top-stitching the trim flat. It is open-ended at $13/hour plus the applicable perimeter tier. Ask about current trim options if you would like to buy trim from Rebekah, or ask what requirements apply if you would like to provide your own.
Do you offer rush work?
A request for less than one week per quilt adds 50% to all known fees, subject to availability. Specialty hourly rates are also subject to the 50% rush increase; hours remain open-ended.
Are ruffles or picots available?
Not currently. Ruffles and picots are not offered at this time.
